The aims of our nursery are:
To provide a safe, stimulating, fun and rewarding environment where children are encouraged to develop at their own pace.
To provide individual care and attention for children, made possible by a high level of team work, and reinforced by our key worker system.
To provide a broad and balanced curriculum adhering to guidance from National Standards, helping children to learn through play by first hand experiences.
To provide an atmosphere that encourages the children’s confidence, independence communication and social skills.
To operate within an environment of equal opportunities for all, valuing and exploring the wide range of family, cultural and religious beliefs that our children and staff have.
To integrate children with special needs and help them learn by working with professionals from outside agencies. (If you would like to discuss the nursery’s ability to meet your child’s special needs, please speak to the nursery manager). To provide opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved in the activities of the nursery and in your child’s progress.
To provide proficient staff who are either fully qualified or training continuously in other childcare courses. All staff have been police checked and are familiar with child protection and first aid procedures as well as being regularly updated with Early Years training.
